Jaxx Liberty Wallet — Service Termination and Phishing Warning

Description: Jaxx Liberty was a multi-currency cryptocurrency wallet that supported Bitcoin, Ethereum, and over 80 other digital assets, available on Windows, macOS, Linux, Android, iOS, and as a Chrome extension. The wallet was developed by Decentral Inc. and officially announced its discontinuation on March 27, 2023, with its official website (jaxx.io) now redirecting to Edge Wallet. Currently there is no official Jaxx wallet or website. Any platform claiming to be “Jaxx” is a phishing scam that exploits former users’ attempts to recover old wallets to steal their 12-word secret phrase and drain their assets.

Disclaimer: You should never enter your 12-word secret phrase on any website or online form. If you need to restore an old Jaxx wallet, use a trusted, operational wallet (such as Exodus or Edge Wallet) and follow their official migration instructions. Blockchain transactions are irreversible, and losses caused by phishing scams cannot be recovered. This information is for security awareness purposes only and does not constitute financial or legal advice.

✍️ Format Three: Short Paragraph Summary

Jaxx Liberty was a multi-platform cryptocurrency wallet developed by Canadian company Decentral Inc., supporting over 80 digital assets and once available as a Chrome extension. The wallet adopted a non-custodial design, with users controlling assets through a 12-word recovery phrase. However, Jaxx Liberty officially ceased operations on March 27, 2023, and its official website no longer functions. The current core issue is: scammers have established numerous fake Jaxx websites to target former users attempting to recover old wallets, inducing them to input recovery phrases and thereby stealing funds. No so-called “Jaxx official website” or “Jaxx extension” should be trusted. If you need to access old assets, please use a reputable operational wallet (such as Exodus or Edge Wallet) and restore using your recovery phrase in a secure environment.

Disclaimer: This summary is based on publicly available information and is for reference only. Cryptocurrency wallets involve high risk, and recovery phrase leakage will result in irreversible asset loss. Please verify information sources independently and do not trust any website claiming to be “Jaxx official.”
